Been looking at the forcast for the event and it seems everywhere in new south wales is getting wind except merimbula... everywhere has green aarows except for meribula :( or am i just some how looking at the wrong thing?
You dont go to mambo just to kite - you go to mambo to party and catchup with other riders,
Kiting is just to fill in time between the bbq the slice and the beers :)

25 plus knots again today. Awesome session at Tathra today with the RPS lads, JB and local gurus.
Local tip. Seabreeze always has Moruya windier than Merimbula because the wind at Meriimbula is taken at the airport which is tucked in behind the dunes.

You can kite in merimbula? I'm calling bull**** on that. Have you ever been there? Once I went down to have a look at the ocean and I saw these massive cliffs in the way of where a NE would come from.
its a great way to catchup on the latest gear, go pros, go joes, newest water sunnies, and compare wind readings with other wind meter enthuisiests. Dont go to the pub, its a little bit loud and obnoxious.
What about the rain that ment to come through on Fri,Sat&Sun?
Any local knowledge on weather or not that going to fark things up?
Keen as but it's a long drive to sit in the hotel room.
there are some nice cafes aong the main strip if you want to avoid getting wet at a kitesurfing event. Possibly even an internet kiosk
So is it that bad there Alex. Just sent my boy down there on a road trip. Hope they get good conditions on the way.
