I seem to remember that last year we also had the first sea breezes today and then had a pretty windless September.
I've got some side bets running on this with mates. While I would say that today technically qualifies as a seabreeze, we are running the condition that it has to register at over 15 knots (or maybe it was 18) for more than an hour and a half at ocean reef.
Edit: actually, looking at the graphs, today is bloody close to that category! I better go check the fine print on that bet...
Here we go again - I say sept 27th in 2009.
Same date I was wrong about every other year too but Im sure to win some sunnies eventually
say no more
over her on the sunny coast we've had 6 N/E SEABREEZES IN A ROW, and one the week before..it also looks like its gonna kick back in later this week!!

A few of us got out this arvy up this end of town, it was fairly light though.
Everyone else had given up and packed up, and I was just about to join them, when it picked up a couple of knots, so I stayed until the sun went down.
There was a lot of South (cold) in it but yep it felt good to be back on the regular tack and it felt like spring. ![]()
11th October for the first decent seabreeze in Perth is my (calculated) guess though. ![]()
