Yep, thats a genuine NE seabreze in nsw today, it is piss weak at 15 knots but for the first week in august its pretty amazing. Back to westerlies next week, but hopefully today is a good omen for the season ahead of us.

had it for an hour... was good to be out, particularly after that last frustrating "southerly" hammering never really swung around from the SW to work the beaches

In the many years I have been kiting, it seems that in a season if the NE'r kicks in early we get ok wind for a month or so and then it reverts to rubbish wind for a few more weeks, leaving a pretty average season.

Happy to be proven wrong, but I'm just saying... :-)

Sadly you are right Geelah. Mind you...It was a sweet wind for the three Tripple K lads who got a couple hours out the front of Ricardos today.
