just wondering if anyone has seen/heard of any shark (great white) sightings up in Gero? is it as bad as down here in perth? Im hoping to go up there later this summer...
Sharks are found in the ocean. Usually where the water is. Once your off the sand your in great danger.
If concerned take up GOlf.
Given that a white can travel up to 70 km in a day , there is no point to the question.
Only something like a whale carcass is a Guarantee that there defnitely will be more white (and other shark action around) as they do their job of clean up crew.
Just get in the water and have fun. If you get munched then at least you went out doing something fun....
maybe not golf, I hear there can be considerable shark danger when Greg Norman is on the Green....

was a crayfisherman up there myself...unfortunately I was injured at one stage and missed a whitey grab hold of a pot as it was winched up. Came right up to the surface belly up, at the surface rolled over, let go of the pot and swam off not to be seen again.
