Hey youngy,

It depends on what you want. If you want "full on" C-Kite then vegas, Torch or maybe Hi-fi is a good choice although I have little personal experience with the Hi-Fi.

The C4 is a great "C" kite without being as full on as the others or as heavy. The C4 can be a great freeride kite as well as a fun "C". The performance of the C4 is up there with the best of them without being quite as harsh.

If you are in WA, you can drop in and demo a C4 and a Vegas from us. For Hi Fi, you'll need to see Jason of West Oz in Safety Bay. He also has C4's.

They are all quite different so it is worth demoing all of them to see what will suit your riding style.

Cheers,

DM

Try the Core GTS- it rips for Freestyle so does the GT. Heaps of power on dial!

Vegas is the nices of the c-kites i reckon. Great depower and feel. Light on bar.
Fuel and Torch are good if you want the 100% c-kite feel and C4 is nice all round c-kite with big top end wind range.
SS RPM or Vapor x are two other option i would try- good balanced kites for freestyle.

let us know if you come up NQ way. we got most the kites for demo.

cheers

I took the new 2011 C4 9 out today.
I can't see how a kite could be any better than that.
I will never buy anything but a c shaped kite ever again.
You can hurl it skywards from so low in the window and get ripped into the sky like you're being shot out of a cannon. At the same time if you don't fly it like a crazed lunatic it's good for just fanging upwind and cruising around

Plenty of depower from sliding the bar out but also just from leaning back really hard and punching it to the edge of the window.

Crashed it once and it relaunched very easily

hey mate i dont think you will go wrong with either the hifi or c4 both are sweet kites i ride hifi's and absolutely love them. If your after a kite to concentrate on unhooked wake style tricks i would definitely sick to a c type kite.
