Around 6 months ago I was 98ish kg and getting quite use to how my 11.5m kite boosted. Loving the secondary lift when you thought you were at the peak.
Then I got a stomach bug for almost 3 weeks and did not kite. But in that time I lost 10kg.
The next time I kited I was 87kg.
Woooh boosted big time. (comparative)
So there are benefits to getting sick.
And the good news for me is I have kept at 88kg for the last 6 months.

So all the big boys... Get sick. Fully sik.

Good for you for keeping the weight off. I got hepatitis A when I was traveling, got sick after I got home. Kicked my ass for a week, I lost a whole stone. I would never want to go through that again despite how it chewed through the fat. Rather be slightly over and feeling good. However, when I did recover, it was like I stopped drinking beer for two months.
