just curious how the young lady (i think) ended up who dropped her kite somewhere off peasholm probably after launching closer to floreat drain yesterday afternoon
seemed fairly new at it but was holding her own mowing the lawn down wind of me for a while, didn't see her drop kite, but wind was still 15kn or so South from 6 to 6:45 so i was surprised to see the kite down and in trouble as i was packing up
looked like the bf had some gear issues and was quickly trying to sort on the beach, launch and get down to help her before sunset (which he did), also saw a few of the downwinder crowd seem to get around her and lend a hand but kite couldn't be relaunched for some reason?
anyhow, it had a couple of people on the beach up my way concerned and i hope everything worked out ok
any info on what happened welcome for my curiosity to be dampened
