Curious how long it actually takes for the harmful bacteria/deseases to get disolved once it gets into the ocean?

But it's a bit concerning when you think about it (assuming you think about it), imagine all those sick and deseased people's sh1t potentially being taken by currents to your kite spot...

Nice to see the water authorities concerned about kitesurfers though...

After heavy rains, especially if they are the first decent rain in a while, it is always a good idea to stay out of the water for 2-3 days.

Some good info of current readings / water quality reports can be found here...

Then again when the conditions are "on" just pretend the brown water is chocolate milk and go for it, but be honest with your doctor afterwards so they can prescribe the right amount of ear bashing and drugs

Think what the waterways are like in Christchurch in NZ, they only opened the beaches about a month ago and the estuary is still closed to wind users. :(

I'd love to see you kiting through the sewerage system. They must be putting in some massive pipes and fans to help you do that.
I think you mean sewage.

Easy to say 'harden up' and go out there with the other idiots till you have serious gut pain for a month then start sh!tting blood & mucous. True story. Took some serious antibiotics to put things right.
