Hey guys, does anyone know if your allowed to kite anywhere in or around deep water point (north of the mt. henry bridge)?? (In Perth, WA) I'm going there on saturday and there's gonna be wind. Thanks. Oh and i'm a member of the kiteboarding Australia thingo, just incase that makes a difference. Thanks! Mike

NOT a good idea with all those petrol heads fanging around in their V12 ski/wake boats - Its a water skiing area!!

One of the reasons it is a good skiing area is the water is fairly well protected from the SW'er by Mt Pleasant so even if it was ok to kite there the conditions would suck.

Drive 5min and you can kite at Melville.

Gusty as ****. I launched a kite once off salter point in a strong westerly but i couldn't keep it in the air due to the gusts and lulls.
