Shattered by the passing of moto gp rider marco simocelli today on lap 2 of the malasian gp ,most upsetting.
faaaaaak. Tough couple years in 2 wheeled racing. Great talent lost today.

Very distressing to watch on live TV. Unfortuntely these things can happen, just not so sure the re-plays were necessary when it looked so bad from the start
most unlucky person ever !!! Not 1 but 2 bikes on him and the very right passing on the helmet ripping it off with the front wheel and getting the final with the rear ...

When I was sponsored racing, I once ran my best friend over in the same situation, leaving a front axle mark up his back, tyre mark on the back of his Helmet which split - but thank god he was ok - there was no 2nd bike...
The feeling was indescribable seeing him just lying there - though there was no way to avoid it...
My sympathy also to the 2 riders involved...

Watched him ride a great fast race for second behind Stoner at Phillip Island just last week.

I never would have thought I would have seen a death in MotoGP. Simoncelli was an amazing racer. He really brought the fun back into MotoGP and gave it some personality. Strangely I feel like going for a long ride. The best way to think. RIP Marco.
made me very sad as well. he was a very promising and charismatic young rider. whenever we engage in dangerous sports we accept the risk involved, just some are more unlucky than others. i really feel for rossi and edwards
