G'day I'm Jay![]()
I had a bike accident recently, I have been told I will get a maximum of 10% movement out of my wrist but hopefully I get full use of my hand.
My question is will it be possible to start kite surfing, I don't want to spend a heap of money then find out I can't do it.
Any advice would be really good.
Thanks Jay![]()
Hi Jay..
I also love bikes.. for the last 10 years I have been taking trail bike tours all around NSW.. I have hundreds of awesome loops around Watagans,Nundle, barrington,Buladela,coffs/belingen.. I used to ride at least twice a week.. That was until i discovered kiteboarding
now I just cant commit to anything just in case there is wind. I have a 525 just sitting in the garage collecting cob webs.. Get into it mate your hand will be fine![]()

Determination is the key. If you want to do something bad enough you will always do it. Many people (including my uncle) are told they will never walk again. He was walking within a month because he didn't take no for an answer.
I would recommend to get lessons first though to see if your hand can withstand the pressure before buying your own gear though.
Milko I have just recently sold my CRF450x and hit a 4wd head on and destroyed my mates berg and the 4WD totally shattered my wrist and arm they want to fuse my wrist now :( so I am hopping that my hand will stand up to the pressure.
thank you for ur replys, could you suggest a good crowd to earn with?
thanks Jay.
