so, if the wise advice of the experts ("..off to the noobs forum for you!") is followed by the genuine noob seeking advice... then... (giant leap of logic to follow... stay with me...)
a noob, in the noob forum, is asking advice.... and getting it... from... uh... hmmm.... who uses this forum again... ah.... hang on... I GOT IT. OTHER NEWBIES!!!!!

this is brilliant.

Hang on....

A lot of experienced troops jump into the Newbies forum to offer good advise.

The whole point is to keep all the info in one place and allow Noobs to ask questions without fear of being harassed by the long term users.
Sometimes other newbies can offer good advice as they are going through the same thing.

Would you rather "what size kite should I get" asked 3 times a day on the General forum?

Just learn to use lots of abusive language and you are welcome on the xperts forum. Ya **** ****!

Here is a tip - take a squiz at the number of posts (under the avatar) from the person offering advice. If they are low then maybe enquire as to the yrs exp. Ha ha - ignore my advice tho as most of my posts are rabble rabble rabble.

...aha!... i forgot the essential element... an inbuilt characteristic of the expert kiter.

that irrepressible desire to talk and talk and offer advice and demonstrate and compare and offer more advice to everyone and anyone. in fact, i suspect the noobs forum was actually set up in order to create a windtunnel for this lot to blow their hot air down!!!! again i say.... brilliant!!!!

...and... you mean... there is a class system in place? a 'post proliferation' hierarchy?? hmmmm, better spend more time on SB and less weekends on the water exactly how many kiting hours does it take to get quad figures in the posting polls??

once again. fkkng with ya...
