Hi i,m interested to know if the light setting on the nomads is more for surfing and more bottom end power

ummmm no, thoes settings refer to the bar pressure not the wind. it will contribute very very minimal to the power in the "sheet controll" but thats about the only flight change i know of.

i don't fly them so its just my IMO

The 'light' doesn't directly mean light winds... but it does help a little bit in less wind as the kite has a more powered turn...
I have my 7 & 9m Nomads on the Light settings - the 11m Nomad on the Lightest Setting for all winds - ride surfboards 100% of the time...
