where do u normally kite in summer?
have a look at the wind graph/gusts for today, tomorrow will probably be similar.
head down to your local and see if people are out, and what they are using. if not then thats a good indication. depends on your ability but it will probably be ok, just gusty compared to the summer (altho summer was a little gusty when i got out too)
good luck.

i could be wrong but i think the river is a NO GO ZONE in winter. if theres gusty or inconsistent wind about it'll be down there. pinnas is a good option as there is usually a couple people out down there if its good to go.

What have you been smoking eppo? No easterly in the morning and not another SW as far as the eye can see!

Touch wood the easterlies in Exmouth stick around for I shall be there fore the next two weeks enjoying my freedom between uni and a real job!

Is their something wrong with my metro Perth map? Starts at 12 knot south west early morning and keeps building to 23 knots in Arvo. Am I losing it or something? Just checked again. Wednesday tomoz right.

haha nope! But its probably a gradient wind rather than an actual sea breeze, something to do with the weather system droping this rain onto us. Had a few over the summer like this, just no rain, they were pretty gusty and didnt really filter through very well.

Hope i stand corrected and its pumping!

Really?

So what was I doing yesterday from 3-4pm at PeliPt than? Awesome session on my 13. Yes, 13 meters. Crazy hey.

There was 35kn gust just before the rain hit Perth. And looking at radar just before you could see no clouds after. There were no any, sunny and 15-20kn. That's when you go...The rain started again late arvo.

Read maps, radar, and sometimes, just sometimes trust your intuition.

You'll never learn how to handle gusts if sitting at home.

Went to PPt after work around 4h30...
Look around, no one there, lightnings and dark clouds on the horizon.
I went back home (*sigh*)

Next time hopefully soon!
