pinaroo conditions / brighton conditions

G'day,

I did my lessons at Pinaroo and still kite there, probably out of habit and familiarity as much as anything. I find it gets pretty choppy out the back. Just wondering if it would be similiar to kiting at say Brighton?? As in, is it pretty choppy at Brighton, or is it more open swell type conditions (bigger swell bumps as opposed to bouncy chop)??? I hope I am making sense here guys, sorry if not.
If anyone has experience kiting both spots any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I live closer to Brighton, so would like to start going there, but just curious on what to expect conditions wise compared to Pinaroo.
I've been kiting for a few seasons now and have the basics down, would love to start getting into waves but I know I have a long way to go.

Probably good thinking. Any suggestions on any other open ocean spots other than Pinaroo I could get my skills up on my directional (toeside riding, gybing), where there'd also be other kiters around to help launch etc ???? cheers!
