Thanks DEANO for taking my kite in after the loop my safety attaches to on my harness snapped. Thanks MIKE for dragging me in on my board from way out back.
I ride a 2008 (or maybe 09) Core Combat GT, I was untwisting the lines under my bar on the swivel just above the chicken loop and accidentally activated the chicken loop. Now I was unhooked but only holding on with one hand and too powered so I dumped the kite, as these kites are easy to get back in the air after flagging to the short 5th line. However kite powered up as I let go and small fabric hook my safety attaches to on my harness couldn't hack it and snapped straight off.
1st thought was "**** I haven't got round the writing my mobile no. on my kite"
2nd thought was "**** now search and rescue will be pissed off finding a mystery kite"
3rd though was, I'm a bloody long way out will be lucky to get in before dark...
Will now be attaching safety somewhere more secure :)
