Was there last year and kited 4 mile in August. Location is pretty choppy. Plenty of people kite there. Personally didn't think much of it as a spot.

Was up there recently has been a bad year for wind, can only hope it improves. Walkers Bay near cooktown is a better option, this year at least.

I did yorkies knob, little bit north of Cairns, last year in Sept. I had no issues. its a good spot, had good wind.



This year Im back during week of 5-12 Sept.
