Yep thats the one , I just got a nomad and hear a lot of talk is going on about the relaunching in marginal winds , I have read this is a good way to quickly pop it up in the surf

Haven't tried it with the nomad but have used it for other kites before. Pull both back lines hard and wait for it to get about 10m off the water before you let go of one hand to turn it around.
Ok , do u have to control the bar once u have let go of a line ? and i"m guessing this is when the kite is directly down wind like a hot launch ?

Yup. Its directly downwind. You don't have to grab the bar until the kite is facing directly up.

aha, i've only tried it in the water in light wind when i couldn't get it to roll onto a wingtip. and yeah i found that it would just bog the leading edge into the water. but if others can do it perhaps i should give it another try.
