Hey everyone,
Wanting more info on those 2 kites please regarding the pulley system on religion while the reo doesn't have any?How would it affect both in the surf?
For the ones who tried both in surf!!,wich one has the best drift?
And for the quality of canopy, wich one feels, looks stronger for beat ups in the surf?
They both look great and I think RRD is spot on with the religion but need to give the reo a go too...
cheers

tried both I have religions and mate has reos north of perth. both are as good as each other, reo could possibly better at drifting (not much difference but) religion is much more reinforced for waves. I went with the religion 7 and 9 and mate went withe reos 8 and 10. both prob the best wave only kites depending on the area you ride!! havnt had a problem with pulleys ever.

Religion is a brilliant kite. In decent winds (ie today WA 30knts) it will not only drift backwards on waves as much as you want, but you can almost fly it backwards quite quickly and steer it as it goes. Perfect in waves.
Only downside is the pulleys: I've had plenty of pulley blowouts (from what i've heard not many people do though) and snapped bridles from chaffing and now run stainless rings (still Chaffe through the bridles fairly regularly). Minor detail though and I would definitely not let this put you off. I would (and will) definitely buy another one without hesitation.

Haven't flown the reo, but would be keen to for the comparison - heard good things also. I can't sufficiently describe how much I love the religion though. Absolutely buzzing still after today's session! awesome!
