i had a great time a dolls point yesterday all to myself.thought there must have been a shark attack down there ,there was no one else kiteing. the current gave me an extra 4 knts . i could see all the boys up at brighton pumping there kites for wind while i was doing 12ft high jumps.
dosn`t look to good for wind today but ya never know and the tide will be good again this arvo.

I was one of those suckers at brighton, once I got out the back though I seemed to have heaps of grunt, not sure if it was cos the water was more flat or because there was a couple of extra knots out there......then I had a little borrow of a 16sqm 2009 crossbow....WOW - that kite had sooo much grunt, and once you get your boogey on it creates more of it's own boogey! I had to pull trim on and it wasn't even close to 15 knots.
There was someone out there on one of those giant ozone monsters just fanging along, looks like they are awesome for the crappy days too.
Well said foxy!! If you're a beginner don't even think about kiting at dolls unless you can go upwind regardless of how good the current is. Its way too dangerous to be continually walking back up the narrow, sometimes crowded beach after losing ground. Also if you come off your board with the opposing current, you need to able to get to it pretty quickly. Otherwise you'll lose it!!

As predicted Dolls was inundated with kooks today. With the run out tide and 20knt of wind , madness prevailed......
Also sighted at the Triple K was the infamous achmed....now posting on NSWKBA section....It appears achmed has now perfected the one way streak and is soon to become a fully fledged member of the Tripple K [}:)][}:)]...we're watching you mate...remember full membership requires a brush with the [}:)]....so keep up the good work ..

Foxy Kane jeez I love your Barry Beeth I've got a toothbrush (broom) if you want to give em a tidy up. I would enjoy becoming a KKK member dont know about the devil worshipping. I will leave that for Achmed the smelly bugger.
