Just switched my quiver of kites over to Cabrinhas, I didn't buy them brand new so i didnt get pumps and hoses as i have a few spare at home.

The nozzles on all the hoses i have at home are glued in! any tips to loosen up the glue? Ive tried mineral turps and nail polish remover with acetone in it.

cheers

Simplest option is to ask around at your local kite shop. They should have a bucket load of old pump hoses laying around awaiting a new owner.

... cut the end of the hose off, and fit new one!

I'm really disappointed about the quality of every kite pump that I've had.

Without mentioning brands, I pay 1-2k for a kite and get a pump that is cheaply made and breaks without being abused at all.
