Is it any wonder we are sighting more sharks, they need to eat, were taking their food source away, if you look at sea food consumption stats from Sydney's fishmarket over the holidays,it mindblowing, plus its the ocean where sharks live ,doesn't shock me to see sharks in the ocean

The WA Government is spending 12million on shark spotting and research is it any wonder they have seen more this year. The sharks are always here but usually not seen. The risks are still the same.

Last week the sharks had the chance to eat over 100 kiters heading from Rotto to leighton but they stayed out the way. Don't worry about it and enjoy the empty water??

Yeh - you are exactly right.. just ignore that they are merely 50m offshore at crowded family beaches.. oh and also ignore that there have been a few fatalities in the last 12 months.. yep that's the plan awright.

What!! Sharks!!! Holy crap.....

I'm surprised I even drive with all these car accidents that seem to be happening!!

Oh yeah, the world is going to end unless we pay more taxes to stop the ice melting!!

1999.... millenium bug ....arrrgggg I better go get an IT degree and a new microwave!!!

Japan do you want iron ore with you whale meat! Yes... Ok ... keep whaling then.

Jarrah, No you can't have it its protected!! But over here we have a selection of similar timber from Indonesia.... dont worry they are poor and uneducated, they wont notice it's gone.

Shark!! I think we need a bigger boat!

Money votes money
Funny that councils are in the process of implementing beach management plans....
hmmm how can we get more money from the government.......

Watch this space, paid parking @ Perth beaches to stop the sharks.

Now, all we need to do is extend the dog beaches, but piss off those pesky kitesurfers first, they are a menace to society....... teenage yobs

Stay at home people get fat and watch your TV... everything will be ok.

Me thinks, FEAR is a wallet & weapon of mass destruction!!
Rant over.

Loads of people risk their lives everyday doing things they dont even love doing so I am going to get out their and play in the sun and waves. And if I come across a big curious fish I will be the first one out of the water ;P

Just to help your fear, there have been 6 shark attacks in the swan river, as far upstream as Maylands
I worry about driving to the beech more. There are some morons on the road at the moment

haha maylands? man that is far in hey! are these bullsharks? ah well guess I'll just kite both the river and the ocean then.. I mean the odds are really low but still quite freaky if you see one of those fins coming at ya. I'm not really that competent in kitesurfing yet so I do tend to float around a lot to get either my kite right or my board back.
