recently snapped my depower on my rebel and am on my 4th beer on what is meant to be a 1 beer job to replace...
... noticed i lost my sliding stopper and sliding ball during self rescue... can i get by without this?

from what's been said here before on this job that 1 beer job sounds like it's going to be atleast 12. 
Do you use the stopper? if not then yes otherwise no
sweet mate thanks... ive also lost the rubber thats seperates the two pulleyes... garden hose suffice?

there is only one pulley, there is no garden hose and the stopper can be useful but if YOU have never used it then NO, you do not need to replace it
