people have been chasing a croc in the gulf of papua for a few years now. its 2m across the back legs (measured from prints in the mud) which puts it in the 6-8m long category. till they get a hold of it and we see some pics its all just guesswork. no doubt, like the croc in the story its a monster.

probably similar stories in North Oz as well.

Maybe crocs can help control the 'rouge' sharks we keep hearing about...

Rouge sharks??

Are they rogue sharks with makeup on their cheeks?

NQ is croc paradise!
Great cuz you can go hunting when there is no wind.
We went up north and Fabian caught this fella 13 foot 3 inches monster.

Luckily there has not been any encounters for kiters with crocs.

No doubt that would be 'catch and release'...

Good timing, I just got this one today in an email.

I wonder how old it was when it happened- must have been taken by something bigger!

I was having a couple beers at the marina in Townsville with a couple locals last week, when they were telling me there have been a lot of croc sightings here. 15 mins later an Asian in a swimming cap swims across the marina. Gotta love Asians!
