speedies at Altona

We went down to Altona flying the trainer and just happened to do a few runs along the esplanade downwind behind some kiters in the car

48kmh was the fastest, yellow kite down apex park end (didn't see the make) and out further some massively high jumps and a greeny looking thing at about 45kmh

Absolutely sensational day!
First session was at Altona then i decided to hit up Port Melbourne for a second session. Insane boosting and kiteloops were the order of the day so my knee's are wrecked now. :(
So... worth... it!

Teako I was just wondering what your opinion is on the 20 plus kites I counted on the eastern side of that great sign the council have put up.
Also was your parks Victoria mate in the car with you holding the radar gun to get a correct speed reading.

nah was about 12
Actually i have a better radar in my work car. But i have no reason to frequent that area to use it.
