Forecast for Tuesday until midnight
Winds: Northeasterly 15 to 20 knots. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres. Swell: Southerly about 1.5 metres. The chance of thunderstorms.
No mention of the swester that is currently blowing. I thought that perhaps the wind meter was reading the exact opposite which has happened before but Norah head is similar .
I know that there is a BOM sympathiser out there that red thumbs me whenever i question the BOM's integrity .I can see that the upper air is moving in from the NE but perhaps the 'red thumbing lurker " can explain what is atually going on in the upper and lower atmosphere and why this current forcast doesn't mention the ssw winds this morning?
It like 7am - the wind is most likely going to be offshore until the land warms up hot air rises and the cooler ocean air is sucked in towards the coast.?
The red thumbs are useless and cause nothing but hate.
As far as I know they only forecast the prominent weather for the day - which is....
Northeasterly 15 to 20 knots. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres. Swell: Southerly about 1.5 metres. The chance of thunderstorms.
Theres no point telling you what the weather is doing right now and how it will change cuz for that info they have 'latest weather observations' but the best observation is to stick your head out the window.
