it's going to be my first time kitesurfing and i am very nervous about it! this is why i am planning to get myself a travel insurance before i go. i have a couple of questions though, i hope someone could help me with these:
1. do you think it's necessary for me to apply for additional insurance covers in preparation of my kitesurfing? the travel insurance i have has the basics, but i am not sure if i need more covers.
2. does anyone know about nib? my travel agent told me that it'll be better if i get a travel insurance, and she recommended nib (here: www.nibtravelinsurance.com.au/). i would love to try other providers like mbf or medibank, and im wondering which is better.
thank you so much!
Its definitely worth getting travel insurance.
Make sure the policy covers you for kitesurfing.
Ask the agent , and get their name.
At the very minimum - get AKSA insurance so that you have 3rd party cover. So you dont get sued if you cause injury or damage to someone/something.
We just got travel insurance through world nomads, they cover kitesurfing and other sports, they are recommended by lonely planet.
Also register with AKSA for your personal liability
