traveling east coast

Hi mate
I’m here for a working visa and I need to know how is the wind btw April to July cause planning to do the east coast and stop in different beaches to do kiting.

Head North ( CAirns, Port Douglas etc............... the winter months in FNQ are when its at its best. CAn expext SE trade winds 15-30knots on average

october til february would be the best months probably

make sure you bring your own wind or one of these unless you're in nth qld

north queensland has wind from now till november!

check out a few locations in NQ and give us a buzz if you come through we take you for a good session

depending on how far north your planning kiting in Cairns that time of year is normallly a fairly safe bet ,you might also want to look into Australian kite safari which does 4 day trips north or Windswell in Port Douglas who does trips to Lizard island and other awesome locations .

within 200 km north or south of Mackay QLD including Mackay is a very safe bet
