a friend just bought an older slingshot 14 metre turbo diesel as a learning light /moderate wind kite. i took out in 13/18 knots to night , a pig to sail.

bridal and pulleys through the bar make sheeting and turning very heavy although the kite is stable and flies quite well ( apart from gusts over powering me, pulling me off board edge and losing height) long time since i had that trucking feeling , kite is in good nik but.

i have used oneline, compstik {fuel,Octane.rallies)etc heaps and am wondering if there are any tuning suggestions to improve kite feel and steering.?
kite was already detuned at the canopy.

I loved my old Turbo Diesel, my mate put it into the trees though!

Sorry can't help with tuning tips (can't remember), had too many kites since then.

how was the bar pressure with your turbo,s ?. I probably am spoilt by rally but bar pressure seems way heavy with turbo.

A mate lost his turbo bar on the weekend - long story!

He has a Rally as well. What adjustments are required to use his other bar - is it out of the question without the pully setup? Bar pressure may be a killer too.

Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
