How good is to finally upgrade from your old kites! My rev's were 3 yrs old, hanging in with distorted stretched lines, the last depower rope frayed and about to snap...

got out on my new wave kite today -TRX- and frickn stoked!! throw it around and it's right where you want it. Massively better! I tired way before it did

How good is it when after the wait, your upgrade just smashes it!

After being on the Revs you will be uber stoked on the Trx. Eat eats gusts so you will never have that on and off pull of the Rev. The Trx is a damn fine kite. I agree, new setups always get me stoked too! Plus we have some seriously good swell with great wind, so along this coast life has been good!!!

So which kites did you try out after your last thread re: throttle? Do share.

New gear is sweet.

time, wind and work don't let me get around to demo...

so after weighing up all that info, figured i'd take a punt on a wave kite and risk the lack of boostyness - got the TRX on a try it and if not happy return it basis, first run yesterday and that's exactly the difference - turns the throttle on and off immediatley with power, but without the grunty power of my old rev2 which would readily overboost for the kind of kiting i'm into

if i had time i'd be interested to compare with other wave kites and the boosters, but for now this works sweet and am stoked for the kind of riding i'm into

Can't wait to trade in my old nails don't think anybody would pay $550 for a thrice repaired 09 RPM!

trade in maybe, but wouldn't sell my old dogs..

i got stung once buying a second hand one through seabreeze, despite the guy assuring me "lines good etc, just a bit old".... lines were 15cm different! that sort of stretch is pretty hard not notice, cost me almost as much as the kite to re-string it.... should of been warned by the seller having been a member for about a week
