I've just scored an invite to go to Tokelau for work. This is one of the smallest countries in the world. It has no airport. You need to fly to Samoa, then a 24 hour boat trip to Tokelau. There's apparently one boat every three weeks.
There is basically no tourist infrastructure.
Sounds a really really cool place to go.
I haven't found any references on the web to kiting there.
E.g. This is what Kitemaniac.com has to say "We currently know no Kitesurf Spots around 0 Cities in Tokelau, For best kitesurf fun in Tokelau you should consider travelling to where you can expect average acceptable kitesurf conditions on up to 0 days per year statistically. Check out our Kitesurf Reviews for every of our Kitesurf Cities in Tokelau to check out which kitesurf conditions in Tokelau suit you best. "
There really can't be any countries left which have never been kited in, can there?
Might even get a sizeable left hander breaking; looking at the NE side in the 2nd photo? Fast right near the village. Need an apprentice? ![]()
Haven't accepted the invite yet.
And the "minister for extracurricular activities" still hasn't approved my application for leave from home duties![]()
Wish me luck

You should sell the lack of hot young tourists as an upside ![]()
And maybe don't use the word "virgin" in the description of the islands either!
NO you need to explain to the boss that is a matter of national intrest to let us all now what it's like over there.![]()
