i am going to Freemantle WA or Goldie/Sunshine coast for a year. can't decide, been to both a few time before even. maybe i should consider somewhere less mainstream eg north nsw.. anyway i go insane if i can't surf kite or sup on a regular basis. perth total crap for local surfing great for flat water kiting, goldie - epic waves of surfing with 250 people in lineup lol! sunshine not too many jobs.. don't know about kiting too much had it ok but not wa epic.. think jobs are hard to come by in goldie/sunshine but not in wa..? i think what i am looking for does not exist lol
If you want a great job and great kitesurfing go to Perth.
If you want ANYTHING else (good food, bars, culture, non-bogans, less irish people, etc) go somewhere else.
