was there a shark out at leighton beach yesterday. because when i got out there was a helicopter circling where i was kiteing. i dont know if it was just watching the kiters or there was a shark there but i would love to know.

Yep was a 3m tiger, and a few white pointers, for sure there were sharks even if you didn't see them. What does it matter anyway..... It doesn't

Well there are heaps of whales this year lots being spotted arround Rotto and just off scarbs and city beach / leighton so I am sure the things that eat whales are also arround..........
I know how you feel natemarshall last summer i was kiting on the northern beaches last my board out the back off the surf body dragged back to my board then headed into the beach for the walk of shame just as i landed on the beach the police helicopter came around the headland and stopped right over the area i lost my board and hovered there for a while . I don't know if it was a shark or not its the only thing i can think it could be but ill never no ,and i packed up i didn't want to take the chance.
