I work 50km south of Laverton in Western Australia at a mine site. I spent an hour or two in one of the trucks on xmas eve, top of the pit was 49 degrees and bottom of the pit was 55 degrees and xmas day was a replica. We would have preferred rain.
Back to normal now though, mid 30's or so.
