to all kiters, if you had 2 months free in nov/dec where would you go kiting in oz thats guaranteed wind (yes i know theres no guarantee there but!!!) i'm so tired of going places to get it together, still at that learning stage of getting up and riding and then the wind dies. flat water would be preferable for me. any advice would be appreciated. FRUSTRATED kiter!!!

the southern states are well in to their season by december so most places should have regular wind then. But to guarantee wind I would probably head to geraldton or further north to around exmouth.

If you head for Exmouth you probably want to camp at osprey bay and kite sandy bay 200m down the beach in Cape Range National Park.
I have a few photo's of it on my profile.

most of the east south and west coast are good then - however theres no guarantee - your best bet is stay flexible, save up a bit more money and book your flights last minute.

Embrace the adventure of not knowing where you're going to be, and be happy that you know it will be windy.

Kitestock is over 4-5 days and has been unlucky for the past couple/few years. But if u had 2 months I'd say dongara is where u should put your money nov/dec. wind is a given there.
