just chasing a bit of advise from the darwin locals,
I coming to darwin tuesday 31st for a week for work.
I have had a look at the forecast for the week and it looks reasonable.

So just wondering if its worthwhile taking my gear?

I have been to darwin many times but never kited there, so I would be after a bit of
local info too regarding what spots and directions. PM me if for someone reason you don't want to broadcast certain spots on the net.

cheers

G'day Yabbin,

you can kite in Darwin but due to our 'skinny' wind you tend to use bigger kites for the same given windspeed so bring you big stuff.

This time of year we have sou'east winds in the morning with occasional northerly seabreeze in arvo so we tend to go to 2 spots: Buffalo Creek at Lee Point in the morning and The Surf Club at Casuarina Beach in the arvo.

You can also catch up with Geoff at Fun Supply, he's our local pusher, he'll be able to direct you with a bunch of info, just do a quick search! http://www.funsupply.com.au/pages/Kite-Surfing-in-Darwin.html

cheers for now,

Robbie

Cheers for the info puetz.

I think I'll bring my 12m and see how we go.
