I think it's pretty disappointing they didn't put an enclosed head down below.
If I was going to buy a hi-tech traditional daysailer I'd pay a little extra (circa $700,000 more) and buy one of the originals:http://www.hinckleyyachts.com/models/sailboats/daysailor-42/

seems excellent value good design excellent materials list uncompromised quality may not suit everyone but i would much rather sail this than a caravan from Europe
A hollowed out racer with heavy seats, no heads and no galley. Why put heavily upholstered seats in it?
A waste of $280K to me.
It might be value if winning a yacht race and standing out at the "prestigious" CYCA is the way to prove your manhood.

There is a $1000 folkboat for sale that would be a better daysailer.

Got a daysailer thanks mate. My daysailer is even good for multiple sequential day sails.

Jeez, MB. If you're a busy person who wants a lovely boat to sail for fun near your home and have lots of bucks, why not?
I wouldn't want it but if it was all about trying to stand out from the crowd there are much more ostentatious ways of doing it.

I just liked the 'prestigious" CYCA in the blurb. There are a quite a few people with expensive pretentious boats at the CYCA.
Some people with lots of bucks do have a tendency to waste money.

With yachts like that there a few other things that have to go with it, such as the Ferarri in the yacht club car park, the Pott's Point waterfront mansion and a $1,000,000 per annum passive income.
We have a few higher end people on the forum here, but not THAT high end.
Dreaming is wonderfull. It is what keeps you motivated. If your dreams are unrealistic and unachievable, they lead to depression.

Interesting boat, but $280K is a big ask for what it is. Its not really a classic, not really a race boat, not really something you can would friends out on for a day sail, not kid friendly. I dunno its a strange concept
