Hi guys, my wife just bought me a pretty old looking 470 series from a guy on gumtree as a surprise. The problem i have is im unsure if its missing hardware and have zero info on how to set it up and im not sure where to start .there appears to be a few unusual diy additions which are confusing. Any advice ? Cheers
Hi Odnario, you might need to add a few pictures for visual so people can see your boat to help and perhaps a rough location for local club suggestions or so close members to you on this forum can help out setting it up.
Sounds like you have the perfect wife, one that buys you a boat. I have to buy my own boats and then buy something of equal value for the wife. I think I am ahead at the moment.

My second boat was a 470, advertised as 'Racing Dinghy on un-registered trailer - $500'
Was that old the sail number was KA-27.
had a ball though, cheap sails available from the top guys.
