Are the schools of dolphins still there? I heard some were shot by some idiots.

Yes, although they've had a few losses over the years, there is still a large dolphin population.

Anchored at the quarantine station a week or so ago. Had the kids walking the beach learning about the marine environment and had a great night. Much under rated spot

Yeah, it's a great spot except for when freighters zoom past at 8 knots!

Freighters aren't so bad as they generally put out little wake, it's the knob head fishermen who don't know how to trim their motors that pull the 2ft surf
