i hear along the grapevine tonight some bad Northerlys put some boats on the rocks past few days hope the Seabreazers are not one of them, apparently a 40 foot ketch has lost its deck and cabin out the front of the sailing club? Can be a prick of a place in strong northerly without correct ground tackle!

A lot of boats fled to Nara Inlet [100+] and north to Woodwark Bay.

I've heard no comments apart from southace's as most boats will not return until around Wednesday with a change to the SE.

Yes, 3 boats dragged or broke their mooring and went up on the rocks and another sank at the mooring

I suggested to my mate to go to shute harbour not that I ever been in there but I think getting to Narra in those conditions coheld be bad or good...it's a tough call in that area without the many factors.

Bloody hell that only happens in a cyclone or a strong northly! I remember dragging the CQR 5 or 10 meters over a 24 hour period 2 to 3 meter onshore crap been there done that and will try to avoid it!

Getting over to Nara in those conditions would be a hoot. Beam reach or close to it.
