A friend gave me this plastic barrel but the top of it missing.
Would someone be able to help me with one or guide me in the right direction to get one, please?

SirG those are/were very common, they are food grade and mostly used to bring food and related products into Oz from Europe, like olives etc. I've got a couple. They are/were routinely advertised 2nd hand on Gumtree etc for 20-30 dollars. Try there.
Sandhurst foods have a factory in miranda. Theyll sell you olive drums exactly like your one for about 20 bucks

Are you sure its not upside down and you need a Barrel Bottom?
