Oh my god!!!! When did Boat Books close in Brisbane???
Haven't been in for years and years mind.
Used to love spending hours browsing through the shelves....it's a book shop thing 
Another Brisbane icon gone. How sad 
It is a shame. I think the internet might be the cause. It is usually cheaper to have a warehouse and web site than it is to rent a string of shops.
A Bias Boating closed and two chandleries down here. As said its probably a downside of the net. Nothing beats seeing something before you buy it though.
