Has anyone had a good experience with boat repairs in the Sydney area?
Please recommend one if you have.
My boom needs work plus I want to put a reefingline on it.
Yesterday my tiller almost snapped off the rudder. The stainless steel tiller holder broke.
As these things usually happen in the worst conditions, I was lucky with the 8-10 knot winds.

Re the boom and reefing line - I've only had one rigger - Joe Walsh in Woolwich. A bit unreliable at times but he's a funny bloke and does a good job at a decent price for Sydney. He'll manufacture something for you instead of buying it if it makes a big difference.

Hi what part of Sydney ? If it is southern sydney a good rigger is Paul Minter, and David Eggins is known for his excellent stainless steel work. Both hail from Taren Point.
