I have an acquaintance who is after a copy of the drawings for the Bonbridge 27?

He would be happy to pay for the cost of copying them.

I doubt even Max had a copy.
Be one of the easiest boats to take a set of lines off though.

Is John Allsop still around, he designed the Bonbridge27. John Staples built them where IKEA was at Pymble for Max Tunbridge who was a panel beater a couple of doors up. Max has been retired for many years and was at Mannering Park on the Lake the last I saw of him [2-3 years ago?].

My involvement? I cut the first bit of wood for the plug off the loftings on the floor. Yep, stuffed up the curve of the clipper bow.. But it was only a small piece of timber!

I then crewed for Max on Amazing Grace in a RSYS cruise as well as some other RPAYC events. Fun days for a teenager.

Possibly John Alsop can be tracked down thru Qantas. He was Qantas pilot.

Max is still alive!
Really!
Just proves you can't kill the devil.
Sailed on Amazing Grace (aka Disgrace) in a SCOR series as a teenager Phil.

Was that the year Max also put it in the Brisbane Boat Show? He had a bet with someone [can't remember who] as to the volume of the Ice Box. Max had Insulated all the storage under the bunks, Ice didn't melt overnight. Tick!
