Hi all
I have been told that some of the Bukh transmissions drive through a internal chain drive when reverse gear is selected
Just wondering if this is correct
Regards Don

Early DV20's do that Donk Mine does its not as single chain either a duplex or triplex chain Road graders use chain drives and bob cats also so its a strong drive
method .
Never heard of a gearbox destroying its self other than running out of oil Donk

HG, gearbox oil seems to do so little work, do you need to change it or just keep checking the level.???.

Ok then
If you put a reverse rotation propeller on it and run the transmission in reverse gear to go forward all the time how will the transmission enjoy that
