I will be advertising my 95 year old classic halvoson sailing yacht after Christmas on yacht hub and boat point. She is part of Australian maritime history and has been the previous star attraction at the sydney wooden boat festival.
I'm going to heavily reduce the price of this classic to Sydney siders that would show intrest in bringing her home to Sydney and keeping her maintained and loved.
If you think you would be interested in being the new owner of the lovely old girl please PM me for futher details. No fender kickers please.http://emuseum.anmm.gov.au/code/emuseum.asp?style=browse¤trecord=1&page=search&profile=ARHVObjects&searchdesc=Maud&searchstring=QuickSearch/,/contains/,/Maud/,/false/,/true&newvalues=1&newstyle=single&newcurrentrecord=1
Is it Halvoson or Halvorsen????
I know it was your Dad's boat and you grew up on it and is has great history and heritage but if you go miss spelling the designer and or builder's name, you will blow your whole act.
The discerning buyer will pick you up on it, particularly if you are going for the "Classic Collectible" market.
Spectacular Achievement is ALWAYS preceded by Unspectacular Preparation and that includes getting your spelling right and use of capital letters right.
Just trying to be helpful here.![]()

Thanks Cisco for stating the obvious about my "halvo"
Lets just blame spell check, late night post with beer and my slight dyslexia!
Halvorsen does not come up on my ipad spell check and when it's highlighted red I just choose the obvious to correct.
I don't suppose you are a former school teacher by any chance? Haha
