Hi Everyone,

After a bit of advise after having my compete rig fail on my boat leaving me with a blank canvas to start again.

Boat is a 23ft van de stadt sloop keel, mast head rig, was running a mast top rig approx 8.1m from deck step.

Looking at a few options and considering the boat isnt worth huge $$, i am a little cautious on buying a new mast etc. If anyone has a suitable mast for sale let me know

Option 1 - find a suitable second hand mast approx same size and re rig to suit existing boat setup
Option 2 - modify a etchells mast (fractional rig) to suit, iv heard that the etchell mast conversion has been used on cruisers before?
Option 3 - Any advice??

Thank you!

Id be going second hand that's for sure might end up costing you more for the rig than the boats worth
