I'm bringing my yacht to Sydney from Hastings, Western Port Bay and my crewmate and I have 16 days to do it.
28 March through to 12 April 2015.
Silhouetic is a 2006, 35 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey. She has three cabins, Self steering, Sound system, etc.
We will be sailing from Hastings to Wilsons Promontory, with a possible excursion to Deal Island. Then an overnight passage to Eden. From there it will be short legs to numerous ports and anchorages till we get to Port Hacking, Sydney. Time spent at any location will depend on conditions and weather forecasts.
Let's meet up over a coffee or invite me for a sail in the interim.

You would have to find your own way to Melbourne. I expect to bear the costs on board - provisions, fuel etc. The crew can fund the bar, social club and bring their own appropriate gear.
It will be all about adventure and safe sailing.
