The "Offshore Cruising Encyclopedia" is the thickest sailing book on my bookshelf, over 1200 pages. I had to buy it second hand as it was too expensive new, and anyway, it is so heavy that Beowulf publishing gave up shipping internationally as the shipping was too expensive. So I bought it from this second hand bookshop that ships books for free (a while ago, when second hand copies were not so pricey). I see they have no copies at the moment, they are all very expensive from other sellers, just as well the authors are so nice to provide free pdfs:

Note: Because of its size, Offshore Cruising Encyclopedia downloads as one master zip folder, with several PDFs enclosed. Once you’ve unzipped the master folder, to read the book, simply click on each section in the Table of Contents PDF.
If you click on the link you should download the zip file - then unzip to get the PDFs
