Hi Southace
I installed a 3 outlet diesel heater in my 38 ft yacht 5 years ago, I installed it myself no worries on,y had a small problem with a code coming up on digital thermostate controller but after googling the web and downloading all the info and actions on the codes got it going easily. Has worked flawlsly since. Uses minimal diesel (2 to 3 lts 24 hrs) and heats yacht easily during winter months in Tassy. Only slight drawback is pump for diesel makes a ticking sound while bringing up temp but once the temp is reached it is then only occasional tick. If you can mount it away from your bunk won,t be a problem. Fitted a D3 Dometec diesel heater which comes with 3 outlets. Hope this helps.

I had brand new one, many years /my guess 10+ / still in the box from imported German tractors.
Currently second year is in my friend caravan in Vic. He is really happy and 2-3 lts per 24 h
is about right. Any of those units even old ones, they all great,
Push the button and in 5 minutes, you in tropics.

Hi Southace,
I Fitted an Ebersparcher diesel heater on 'Soliloque of Searle' its perfect for the boat (42ft). I only installed one outlet in the saloon which is just right. Install wasn't too much of a challenge once you work out the best place to mount exhaust (ours was a bit tricky being a canoe stern) and tap into the fuel system etc. Fuel consumption is about 100ml per hr, great control panel. Highly recommend one!
